Did you drive it at all before taking it in? I mean did you take it on the freeway? Was it completely warm?

So is the motorcycle running right? I mean does it have a miss? Is it lower power than usual? What about tune up issues? When was the last time you tuned it up? Vacuum Leak? Do you run supreme gas or regular?

What mods if any?

Yeah it was all warmed up, It seams like it is running right to me, I did not notice any loss of power. I tuned it up after the first time it failed, I rebuilt the carbs and replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the air filter. As far as a vacuum leak i don't know if there is one or not. I run Premium Gas. The bike says not to use any thing less than 91 octane, and if i use any thing less like i have it uses more gas. I did however read to use regular for emissions so i tried that it it was worse.

Sounds to me like you need to just lean up the jetting.  The fact that going from premium to regular makes it worse kinda proves this.  There are additives in premium to boost the octane rating making actually have less gas per actual gallon therefor leaner.

You get a few tries to pass per fee you pay, right?

Try adding some(a small amount) of rubbing alcohol(isopropyl) to the gas tank and get it testing again. This should be mixed at 1 Part Alcohol to 3.5 parts gas.

If it doesn't pass with that, try putting a size or two smaller jets into the carbs.  And make sure your air filters are clean and dry.

Tried the whole Alcohol Thing did not work just made it worse. As far as going from Reg to Prem. that was before i did all the work i don't know about now. The shop had told me that the cards needed to be re synced so they did that and adjusted the air/fuel mixture but that did not help at all.

I don't think it is a carb problem really. Maybe if you sync'd them it may help but I think you have an internal motor problem or a vacuum leak. Lets plan on you bringing it over soon and we will see what we can find.

It is going to be tough now for about a month, but this Saturday Rudy is coming by for a quick once over on his track bike then he is going to pick up Jon's bike and haul it to Josh's If you can make it Saturday it would be great, but if not. I will be unavailable til the middle of April.
