New Leathers

I finally broke down and ordered some leathers. I stopped by Cycle Gear on the way home with the intention of trying on some leathers, possibly buying a set the only women's leathers they have are Frank Thomas and I don't want those.

So I looked through the catalog and decided to put some money down on a two piece white suit.

When they arrive, I will try them on and if I love them I will buy them. If I don't love them it's too much money. But they look good in the picture and I like that they are a little different.

Plus I can wear the jacket by itself riding on the street and I can wear the pants to the disco Smiley

The sizes differ slightly from brand to brand but for AlpineStar (ladies) if you wear a size 6 in regular clothing, you would wear a size 38, 8 = 40, 10 = 42, etc. I didn't look at the sizing chart before ordered, I got a 38 based on another suit I'd worn that was a different brand.

Yea the return policy is almost worth the money, because if you dont like it, you can take it back. Even after riding in it.

Robyn,

The only real choice out there for women seems to be the alpine stars, unless you just order one and hope it fits. Any issue with us having similar or the same track suit? Some people (name starts with J and ends with ua) are weird about these things tehee! Grin

So I ordered what I thought was a 10 (42) per the sizing chart, and that turns out to be a US size 6. So mine were tiny! I am returning them and getting a real 10 which for alpine stars womens is actually a 46. So now cycle gear will have two suits at the store, a 6 and a 2! Robyn, maybe you needed a 6? If so, you should check it out, they may discount it to move it.
