What does this mean?

"Makes this legislation effective from and after December 31, 2010" in the footer?

Sounds like it means it wont go into effect until 12/2010 and will only last one year.

OK so the News media is full of shinola. They totally sound bias.

They try and make it look like it is not bias by adding comments for and against the bill but at the end they say

"Do you think motorcyclist should be able to 'weave' through traffic? Let us know below in the comment section."

That is completely different than what the article is about. They are just trying to stir up shinola and of course by the comments that is exactly what they did. crappity smack the news. If you are against it great if you are for it great don't give a crappity smack what anybody else thinks.

All I know is that if it passes. I am taking full advantage of it. And I encourage it too everybody for at least the first year. If everybody does it it will be a lot harder for them to take the law away.

Yeah, its pretty sad that people would even think about resorting to violence over something like this. Really, does it hurt you to have a motorcycle get out of the way and continue down the road? They should be thinking "thats another car length out of the way"

Drivers don't like waiting, so I bet they are taking this as "cheating". If we can "sneak" by cars and continue on, why can't they. But they don't understand the logistics of it all. Poor saps..

I actually passed stopped traffic on the right last Friday on University to make a right onto the Price rd/101, but got stuck by a car that was ride up against the curb. I felt awkward waiting behind him as he was the second car in line waiting to go straight. Jerk..

Well the law stipulates that the cars have to be stopped to spit lanes. There might be something about passing in the same lane, but I am not positive

Ya it is stupid we have to wait till winter. I'm not sure why or how things work. why does the 1070 start in summer but motorcycles have to wait. Maybe it is a ploy to get us all excited about it then give out reckless splitting tickets till it passes.

All the stupid stuff to veto! This is the only bill I was for, but I am not surprised because all of the other bills take effect in July but this one was for January. It didn't seem right from the get go. I hate her!!
